The journey began in 2000, when Aadil S Ali established THE ENGLISH ACADEMY, driven by a vision to improve how English was taught and learned. But even as the institute grew, Aadil remained deeply unsatisfied with the grammar-heavy, translation-based methods that dominated classrooms.

Determined to uncover how people truly learn, he stepped away from teaching and immersed himself in cognitive science and neuroscience. Years of intensive research led to a profound realisation: the human brain already knows how to acquire language—it’s an innate ability. Traditional teaching methods often work against this natural process, making learning unnecessarily difficult.

Armed with this insight, Aadil returned to education with a completely reimagined approach. In recognition of this transformation, THE ENGLISH ACADEMY evolved into RIDSON ACADEMY—a name that reflects its broader mission to redefine not only English language education, but the very process of learning itself.

But at RIDSON ACADEMY, we’ve intentionally left the wreath open—not as an omission, but as a declaration. It reflects our belief that true excellence isn’t confined by convention. By breaking the expected form, we signal that our approach to education goes beyond tradition, beyond boundaries, and beyond what learners’ thought was possible. It’s a visual metaphor for our promise: to challenge norms, redefine learning, and help students rise beyond expectations.
